I will admit that when I heard we were doing desserts for the next 10 days, I got anxious. I am no Betty Crocker, so I panicked about what delicious treat I was going to offer to you, mamas. I searched on Pinterest and tried to see what easy peasy recipe I could find. It popped into my head that maybe I should stick with the “No Bake” rule and here we are. The best No Bake Oreo Cookie Balls recipe! What is so awesome about this recipe is that Publix is offering BOGO on Oreos thru December 11th! So grab them while you can.
I didn’t follow the recipe exactly because the Oreos used were not available to me as well as the sprinkles. Also, I wasn’t alone in the kitchen. My husband and 1 year old joined me on this fun activity. I hope you enjoy as much as we did!
Here are the basics:
- 2 packages of Oreos Mint Flavor
- 1, 8oz package of cream cheese
- 2 bags of Publix brand semi-sweet morsels
- Sprinkles
Next, blend the cookies and cream cheese together to create a consistency that allows you to roll into a ball shape. In the meantime, start melting the morsels for dipping.
The in between process is not very photogenic so here is one shot of the cake balls!
Now for the end result!
We can’t wait to try this recipe again. It was SO YUMMY! We want to buy a cake pop mold tray to perfect the shape for the future. Seriously, if you have to bring a treat to a holiday party, this is the one!
PS: How cute is this taste tester?
Happy Holidays!
