Kinda Copycat Frosted Lemonade

I am a member of Chick Fil A Moms and throughout the year they send me gift cards for different promos they are having. The most recent was the Frosted Lemonade, which by the way is really good!  The Chick fil A’s here are always super busy though, which means I am not always in the mood to venture out with all the kids…no matter how good the drink is.

So we decided to try to make our own.

The drink at Chick fil A is good, but does not have enough lemon taste it in. The copycat recipes we found online were mostly made with real lemons, which is ideal if you are making this for 2-3 people, not 7. So we wandered the aisles and came up with our own mix. You can add more of less of any of the ingredients and can cut the mix into portions and freeze for later….also a great thing to keep handy on these HOT Florida summer days.

The recipe we came up with is super easy!

What you need:

  • Vanilla Ice Cream, whichever is your favorite is fine,  5-6 scoops.
  • Lemonade concentrate, you can also use {8} real squeezed lemons.
  • Sugar, 1/2 cup.
  • Water, about 2 1/2 cups.

What you do:

  • Mix the above ingredients in a blender.
  • Blend on a lower speed for about 45 seconds.
  • ENJOY!
