BIRTHDAYS ARE SO IMPORTANT IN OUR HOUSE BECAUSE WE GET TO CELEBRATE THE GROWTH OF THE BIRTHDAY PERSON AND REFLECT ON THAT SPECIAL YEAR TOGETHER. THAT’S HOW WE CAME UP WITH A SORT OF NO-THEME THEME. WE FEATURED LOTS OF BRIGHT COLORS AND MEMORIES OF CAMERON’S FIRST YEAR HERE WITH US. I WANTED TO KEEP IT SWEET YET SIMPLE SO THAT I DIDN’T LOSE SIGHT OF WHO AND WHAT THIS DAY WAS ABOUT. IN THE END, I GUESS THAT CAMERON WAS THE THEME AND HE REALLY ENJOYED HIMSELF! WE OPENED GIFTS, ATE SNACKS, SMASHED THE CAKE, AND EVEN GOT SO MESSY THAT WE TOOK A LITTLE DIP IN THE POOL. WE MADE JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING THAT WE USED WHICH MADE IT REALLY FUN AND PERSONAL. I ALSO GOT A LOT OF IDEAS FROM PINTEREST AND MADE THEM MY OWN.
