These are the times that will define our parenting generation in textbooks.
Being a parent can be exhausting during “normal” times but now….it’s a whole different ballgame.
Right now across social media groups, you see the worried pleas of parents asking what others are doing in regards to sending their kids back to school virtually or in person.
We are weighing what risks we should take?
Did you ever think you’d be pondering if it’s safe to take your kid to dance class?
Each night as I lay my head down I shake my head in disbelief that this is where we are. Sometimes I wish there was a pandemic parenting handbook, a version of what to expect when you’re expecting, type of read.
I’m seeing the social media highlight reels of the most cheery of parents take a pause with worries.
I think the most important thing to remember is to follow what is right for you and your children.
No one knows that better than you. Your right decision may be different from your neighbor and that’s ok. We’ve all simply got to support each other instead of judge.
