Hernando Beach Yacht Club Annual Christmas Boat Parade | Friday, December 4th starting at 6:30pm

Hernando Beach Yacht Club annual Christmas boat parade will be held on Friday, Dec 4, 2015 leaving our dock at 6:30 p.m. It will be traveling down Marlin canal, Cheeks Creek canal and return, then Tarpon canal ending at the boat ramp. You are invited to participate. Decorate your boat. Awards to be given. Entry fee is one unwrapped child’s toy. Registration will be open Dec 2 and Dec 3 from 3-6 pm at our clubhouse at 4163 Shoal Line Blvd. You are invited to view the parade from our deck or dock. Come and enjoy hot dogs, drinks, and some Christmas cheer. Our clubhouse will be open from 5 pm until after all boats have returned and awards announced.
Illuminated Boat Parade/There’s Snow Place Like Tarpon | Friday, December 4th starting at 4:00-9:00 pm
Historic Downtown Tarpon Springs
The boat parade comes into Spring Bayou around 8:00 pm, as always, but we now have live reindeer, falling snow, food, vendors, carriage and hay rides! With the full three blocks of fun, from Ring Avenue to Spring Bayou and down Safford Street. The kids’ area will also have Christmas movies, as well as inflatables, games, food and a lot of fun!
The 26th Annual Boat Parade will be held on Friday, December 4th, following Snow-Place Like Tarpon Springs. Vessels will proceed down the Anclote River and into the bayous where Santa will give out treats to the children in Spring Bayou. There is no charge to participate, but all vessels must be registered to enter. Registration forms may be obtained at the City Marina and at the Recreation Division administrative office. Trophies will be awarded to the best decorated boats. Call 942-5628 for more details. Best viewing is from Craig Park/Spring Bayou. Boats enter Spring Bayou between 8:30 and 9pm.

Santa Fest and Rough Riders Holiday Parade | Saturday, December 5, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Downtown Tampa, the parade will begin at Morgan Street and Madison Street travel west on Madison Street to Ashley Drive, turn north and end at Ashley Drive and Cass Street. Best viewing along Madison Street.
Santa Fest Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park
Free | Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park will be transformed into a Winter Wonderland with lots of fun activities for the whole family. Along with non-stop holiday entertainment, there will also be free photos with Santa, make-and-take holiday card makings, hands-on games and activities, and a holiday market. Ice skating will be offered for $5/person.

Free | Ring in the holidays during this traditional waterfront celebration as decorated boats parade through the Marina at approximately 7 pm. Enjoy holiday music and s’mores while waiting for Santa to arrive by boat and lead the countdown in the lighting of the City’s Christmas tree. Limited seating, bring lawn chairs. The parade starts at East Gulf Blvd. and winds through the neighborhood. Following the parade, the City will hold the Children’s Holiday Party in the Civic Auditorium with refreshments and snacks.

Free | Join us for our annual holiday parade. Parade Route: Starting at Manatee Plaza (Old Winn Dixie) Goes North to E. Lemon St., turns right, goes to S. Ring Ave., turns left, goes to E. Tarpon Ave., turns left, and takes Tarpon Ave., all the way to Spring Bayou. After the parade, join us in Craig Park for the annual Candy Cane Hunt. Children up to age 12 can hunt for the lucky candy cane. We will have crafts, hot chocolate and even a visit from Santa.

Free |Get here early for great seats and watch the pre-parade entertainment starting at 6 p.m. along historic 7th Ave. Enjoy all of the sights and sounds of local performers as the anticipation fills the air awaiting arrival of Mayor Bob Buckhorn and family! The first family of Tampa will kick off the parade and snow turning the city into a winter wonderland!! Come cheer on all the floats, marching bands and live performers as snow falls throughout the parade for an experience unlike any other in Tampa. No parade would be complete without jolly old St. Nick ending the parade with photos in Centro Ybor near the Christmas tree. This is one of the fastest growing holiday events and also plays host to the largest number of local marching bands in the area! The Annual St. Petersburg Illuminated Boat Parade | Saturday, December 12 at 6:00 p.m.

Free | Enjoy one of the city’s most beautiful holiday traditions as boats festively decorated with thousands of twinkling lights sail through the Vinoy Basin and along Bayshore Drive on the downtown.
Island Estates Yacht Club Holiday Lighted Boat Parade | December 12th, 6:30 p.m.
Clearwater, Coachman Park, 301 Drew St
Free | The decorated boats will assemble in Mandalay Channel located between Island Estates and Clearwater Beach at 6:00 p.m. At 6:30 p.m., the lead boat will proceed northward through Mandalay Channel. Then the parade will weave in and out of many of the Island Estate canals before heading over to Coachman Park around 8:00 p.m. From there the boats will go under the Memorial Causeway Bridge turning into the Clearwater Marina Channel before navigating to the Clearwater Yacht Club. Cash and gift certificate prizes, donated by many area businesses, will be awarded to the best decorated boats. There is no parade entry fee. Hillsborough River Holiday Boat Parade | Sunday, December 13, parade begins 6:00 pm, arriving upriver at Sulphur Springs Park @ approximately 7:00 pm.

Free | The 16th Annual Hillsborough River Holiday Boat Parade happens Sunday, December 13th. All boaters and paddlers of canoes, kayaks, etc. in the Tampa Bay area are invited to JOIN the FUN at the Boat Parade for everyone! Paddlers and boaters are needed to help create this FREE community event, sponsored for the 16th consecutive year by Friends of the River. This annual community tradition celebrates another year of life in a city with a restored, beautiful river running through it. This event begins and ends at 2 City of Tampa Parks: Begins at Lowry Park Boat Ramp. Spectators may enjoy the parade of lights over the water -6:00 pm – 7:00 pm at: Lowry Park, from their riverfront docks (riverfront residents are encouraged to decorate their docks and enter their boats in the parade) or at Sulphur Springs City Pool Park – Nebraska Avenue south of Bird St., where there’s plenty of parking, room for viewing the parade.
Indian Rocks Beach Lighted Boat Parade | Saturday, December 19 at 6:45
The Indian Rocks Beach Holiday Lighted Boat Parade is an annual favorite. Beginning at 7 p.m. on Saturday, December 19 at the Holiday Inn Harbourside in Indian Rocks Beach, boats of all sizes join in this parade. The parade begins at the Holiday Inn Harbourside and continues north through the coastal canals ending at Harbor Drive North. Come enjoy these beautifully lit boats as the participants compete for prizes in various size categories.

Plant Museum’s Victorian Christmas Stroll. During the Victorian Christmas Stroll, visitors explore the museum transformed by Christmas trees ranging in height from a few inches to more than 14 feet, 40,000 lights and hundreds of feet of garland. Decorations include vintage fashions, antique toys, hand-painted ballet pointe shoes and fanciful ornaments. Complimentary cider and cookies will be served on the veranda each day while holiday music floats through the air. Guests can enjoy live music each evening from 6–8 p.m.
