MOMs Friday Night Market on Main


Details: M.O.M’s Friday Night Market was created to enhance the downtown New Port Richey community and to add shopping and entertainment options on Friday evenings. The majority of the vendor fee proceeds will be donated to Pasco Pet Fest, and Guardian ad Litem Foundation. The Market is held weekly on Friday, from 5 to 9 p.m., 12 months out of the year.

Flick and Float


Bring the family and friends to movie night at 7:30 p.m. St. Petersburg Parks and Recreation presents a family friendly movie, Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast (G). While Tinkerbell and her friends aren’t so sure about this scary addition to Pixie Hollow, the elite Scout Fairies set out to capture the monster before he destroys their home. Fawn must trust her heart and take a leap of faith if she hopes to rally the girls to save the NeverBeast. Floats provided. Flume slide and diving boards open, lawn chairs welcome. Summer Morning Nature Walk

Celebrate National Trails Day by visiting Crockett Lake – 520 acres of land abutting Starkey Park and Serenova Tract, not usually open to the public. Art Spot for Children


Every Saturday the Museum offers a free drop-in art program from 11a – 2p. Come and let your children explore their creativity by creating an art project. No registration required.  Our projects will vary week to week to tie into the exhibition on view at the museum.

This week’s project will be “Paint Your Plans” and we will be painting summer scenes.

Kidding Around Yoga


Join us the first and third Saturday of the month, 10 a.m. Ages 3  and older Kidding Around Yoga system utilizes the yoga poses or asanas creatively tucked into: partner yoga, games and activities, original music, stories and more.  The class is specifically designed for kids – families welcome. Practicing yoga with everyone in the family and especially children creates a special bond. Bring a towel or yoga mat.

Make and Take 

For ages five and older, but entire families are encouraged to participate in the make and take activities.

Children can discover the creative world of Dali through games, puzzles and arts + crafts activities which educate and encourage family interaction. FREE Yoga In The Park – Ongoing
Yoga Downtown Tampa and Tampa Downtown Partnership offer a one-hour FREE Yoga class in Curtis Hixon Park each week. This class is designed for all levels and is offered every Sunday at 5:00pm (at 6pm in winter months during daylight savings time change). If you have a mat or towel please bring it along with your water bottle to the north terraces. Come out and experience Yoga while watching the sunset over the city skyline in the beautiful Curtis Hixon Park!
