Well, that sounds interesting doesn’t it? If you don’t already juice with beets you are probably thinking that I am crazy. In fact, a few months ago if you told me that I would be doing ANYTHING with beets, I would have told you that you were crazy.
But my good friend has been telling me for a long time now that beets are some amazing super food and that I should be adding them to my smoothies. I ignored her for a long time, but I finally gave in. And much to my surprise, beets aren’t as scary as I thought!
Plus, when you blend them they make for such a beautiful color!
Here is my Beet Pineapple Beet Smoothie Recipe, be sure to Pin It so that you can make it again and again. And if you are still reading this post thinking that I am crazy for drinking anything with beets in it, I challenge you to give it a try!
What You Need:
- 5 baby carrots
- 1 small beet or a thick slice of a large one
- 1 thick slice of pineapple
- 4 – 5 ice cubes
- 4 – 6 oz of coconut water – you can use regular water if you prefer
What You Do:
- Place ingredients as listed into blending device
- Blend until smooth
- Enjoy!
