Disclosure :: In September, our founder, Sheriss, traveled to The Woodlands Resort, just north of Houston, Texas, for the City Moms Blog Network Sister Site Conference. The Woodlands Resort was a fabulous host, and we gladly agreed to share this honest review!

The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center, located a little north of Houston, Texas, has been rated one of America’s Most Family Friendly Resorts.  I can definitely see why! With soothing landscapes, including the addition of a 1,005-foot lazy river that winds through the resort’s surrounding forest area and resort style amenities, it has so much to offer families!

The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center has completed a $60 million renovation, complete with 184 brand new guest rooms and suites, adding to their existing 222 rooms.  Amenities and additions  include caliber restaurants, a 36-hole championship golf course, a 21 court tennis facility, over 194 miles of jogging and biking trails, bike rentals, five swimming pools with spas, a SPA, waterfalls, slides, a sprayground, a 1,005 foot lazy river, water volleyball and basketball courts, seasonal poolside entertainment, and more!
