Top 5 Baby Travel Gear Items For Your Adventures

If you are like me and like to travel light, well that will totally change once you have a baby traveling with you! How could such a tiny little human need so many things? They totally have their needs and we are okay with it, am I right mamas?

Baby Travel Gear

Like I had mentioned in my previous post, most airlines will allow you to gate check two of the baby’s bigger equipment. After a lot of research, I found some great travel gear that is compact and efficient, but also very lightweight.

1. Stroller

The stroller gb Pockit + is amazing for traveling! So lightweight (12 lbs), ultra compact fold (it folds so tiny, it’s crazy!), and so durable. It also reclines, has a sun canopy, and comes with car seat adapters if you choose to purchase their compatible car seat to turn it into a 2-in-1 travel system. You would think it’d be flimsy, but it has been used on multiple cobblestone streets in Italy and elsewhere in Europe. It’s still standing and strolling strong to this day.

2. Travel Crib

This Traveller Travel Crib by phil&teds is very lightweight at only 6 lbs and ultra compact. It also comes with an inflatable mattress, fitted sheet, and one of the sides zips open for the additional play function. This is by far the cheapest, lightest, and most compact travel crib I could find online that is of quality for a baby. Target used to carry it but unfortunately not anymore.

3. Inflatable Bathtub

My daughter can handle showers now when we travel, but when she was smaller we used Mommy’s Helper Inflatable Bathtub and she absolutely loved it! Best part other than being inflatable is that it weighs just 1-pound.

4. Portable High Chair

Since most AirBnB’s we stay at don’t come with high chairs, we use Eric Carle Portable High Chair for mealtimes. It goes over any chair with a backrest and it has a 5-point harness for safety and support. It is washable and packs in a small matching carry bag. The best part is that it folds so small and weighs a mere 10 oz! Plus the print is so cute!

5. Baby Carrier

I have been using an Ergo Baby Carrier since she was very tiny, and absolutely love the closeness, warmth, and security it provides for my baby. It is also great for traveling, especially when we go hiking. Outdoor enthusiasts over here! My favorite is the 360 All Carry Positions Cool Air Mesh. It breaths, so my baby doesn’t sweat on our hikes or even in Florida’s weather conditions. I scored on a barely used one on Facebook Marketplace for less than a third of the retail price. Finding deals is my forte, especially travel related!

I’m in no way being sponsored by any of these companies mentioned above. I’m simply sharing them because I believe in them and they have personally worked great for me and my baby’s needs.
