Quick and Easy Easter Snacks For Busy Moms

Easter is around the corner and that means Easter specific snacks are a must. If you’re like me you have scoured the internet for some cute and delicious idea that will impress and/or entertain your little ones. I become quickly discouraged when I see all the prep time and the amount of effort required to make these Pinterest worthy snacks for the holidays. At times I am just too tired or too lazy to make anything that takes more than 5 minutes. Getting some inspiration from Pinterest I was able to create some simple and easy Easter snacks that takes no more than 5 minutes to prepare and enjoy.

Easter Bunny Sugar Cookies

This yummy Easter snack can double as an Easter craft. I used store bought sugar cookies as I do not have the time, or lets face it,  the talent to bake yummy heart shaped cookies. This snack was created using two sugar cookies, frosting and icing. One sugar cookie is broken in half to use as the ears.  My kiddos enjoyed decorating the cookies as much as they enjoyed eating them! The cookies do not have to be heart shaped you can use round cookies.

Sweet & Salty Easter Trail Mix

This snack is easy and fun for both mom and kiddos. My kiddos are picky eaters and I’m not willing to spend the cash or the time making the typical fancy trail mix. I used all of their favorite snacks and threw them together in a bowl and mixed it. I added sprinkles and fruit loops for color. If you’re having an Easter party, scoop your trail mix into an ice cream cone.

Bunny Bait

Healthy Easter Bunny

For all of our healthy mommas, this one is for you. Using a combination of fruits and veggies, I created a bunny. You can use any fruit or vegetable combination you think will help create your masterpiece.

This is a quick and easy snack that takes less than 5 minutes to prepare and put together. You can also turn this snack time fun and let your child put the bunny together. My bunny came out a little funky. My son was excited and said, ‘Mommy, its a mouse!’ Mouse or Bunny, he still enjoyed it. Find a similar snack here.

Easter Bunny Cupcake

Another quick delicious snack or dessert is our very adorable bunny cupcake. I purchased store bought cupcakes with white frosting. You need to cut large marshmallows in half diagonally. I added pink sprinkles to the marshmallow and secured it on top of the cupcake. Not a fan of store bought cupcakes? No worries! This can be a fun baking activity with your little ones by having them bake and decorate the cupcake from start to finish. However, if your schedule looks like mine….or you just don’t want to spend that time baking, find your nearest bakery!

Easter Bunny Ears

Carrot Goldfish

This is the easiest snack as it requires no prepping or baking. Simply take a scoopful of goldfish and put them in a plastic frosting bag. Tie the bag with a green ribbon. You can also use cheetos, carrots, or any orange colored snack.
