I’m not going to lie to you, I’ve been a little addicted to Netflix, Amazon, and Disney+ lately. We have become a streaming family, especially during this pandemic. Through my many countless hours of streaming shows, I’ve come up with a list of the best shows across Netflix, Amazon, and Disney+ that are binge-worthy.
Below are some of my favorite binge-worthy shows:
Emily’s Wonder Lab (Netflix, TV-G, 1 Season)
This science-loving host Emily Calandrelli makes STEAM fun on this Netflix show. She shows a variety of fun activities, demonstrations, and at-home experiments. This is highly recommended by our Managing Editor Kelly Kennedy. Check out her recent post on the show.
The Mr. Peabody & Sherman Show (Netflix, TV-Y7, 4 Seasons)
If you liked the movie your kids will like this series. The show centers around Mr. Peabody and Sherman hosting a late-night show with famous historical guests such as Mozart and Napoleon. It’s four seasons of entertainment for the kids.
Jessie (Disney+, TV-Y9+, 4 Seasons)
My youngest daughter loves this show about a Nanny in New York taking care of the Ross family kids. She has several adventures with the family throughout Manhattan.
Pixar in Real Life (Disney+, Family, 1 Season)
This 11-episode live-action series takes the beloved characters from the Pixar films and brings them to life throughout New York City. In one of the episodes, we have WALL*E running around the city helping find missing items for people in New York.
Cobra Kai (Netflix, TV-14+, 2 Seasons of awesomeness)
If you are a Karate Kid fan then you’ll love the continuation of this series with Daniel Larusso and Johnny Lawrence later in life. How their long-standing animosity carries on through the decades and affects another generation. This series is a little addicting and I watched two seasons over a long weekend. They are slated to make Season 3 and it will be released in 2021.
The Man in the High Castle (Netflix, TV-18+, 4 Seasons)
This alternate history series depicts a parallel universe where Nazi Germany and the Empire of Japan rule the world after their victory in World War II. A must see!
The Boys (Amazon, TV-18+, 2 Seasons)
These are not your typical superheroes and are backed by Vought Corporation. “The Seven” are the heroes that abuse their superpowers rather they use them for good. It’s a very dark and twisted view of the superhero genre in this series.
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (Amazon, TV-16+, 3 Seasons)
This series goes through the life of Midge Maisel and her self-discovery from a 1950’s housewife to a stand-up comedian. The fashion, humor and plotline drives this series. It’s hilarious and a great show to watch with your girlfriends.
I would love to hear from you what you think of these binge-worthy shows across Netflix, Amazon, and Disney+. Let me know if you have any favorite shows, I should put on my watch list. Happy viewing!
