It’s so important to keep things fun in any relationship, especially after becoming parents. Planning and making time for each other takes a lot of work and effort. Things can get a bit more complicated because we’re still dealing with the pandemic. However, date nights should not end. The weather is starting to get cooler, especially in the evenings for Florida residents. This is best time to start exploring new ways to connect as a couple. I have put together my top 10 fall date night ideas doable on any budget. Check out the list and find something you both will enjoy.

Visit a Drive-in Movie

This a great way to enjoy a movie with your spouse. Bring your own snacks or purchase from the snack bar at the drive-in theater. Check out these outdoor movie experiences in the Tampa Bay area. Make sure to check online to see available movies and time slots.

Explore a Farm Festival

Despite the pandemic, you can still visit a farm festival or weekend market this year. Businesses have found great ways to keep everyone safe while allowing residents to continue to make memories. Spend some time outdoors with your loved one. Many farms offer tractor rides and other fun activities in addition to lots of goodies to purchase. Check online to find one in your area and plan ahead. Some farms may still be requiring guests to make reservations in advance.

Carve and Decorate Pumpkins

Just because Halloween is over doesn’t mean the festivities have to end, too. If your spouse enjoys arts and crafts, this will be a fun project to complete. Pumpkin carving (and fall crafts in general!) is perfect for parents who are not quite ready to leave the kids with a babysitter for a night out. Put the kids to bed early and start date night.
