5 Unique Ways to Celebrate Mother’s Day

In the current climate, you’re probably not booking a brunch spot to celebrate mother’s day? No worries! It’s not impossible to create an amazing day for your mom. And for you too, because, you know, you’re a mom too… Whether you do these ideas now or a year from now, any of them will make you or the special lady who changed your diapers once feel wonderful. And remember, you don’t need a specific day to share love or feel loved. We as mothers make sacrifices each day to nurture our little ones and keep our houses afloat. In essence, every day is Mother’s Day. Enjoy!

5 Unique Ways to Celebrate Mother’s Day

Have everyone agree to let mom sleep in. Every other day she wakes up at the crack of dawn to make sure all is right for her family.

Plan a staycation for when this quarantine is over! Hello? We live where folks vacations! Tell Mom, that later this summer, you’ll head over to Clearwater Beach, St. Pete Beach, or Treasure Island, book a room for mom and leave! Just kidding you can stay, but let mom relax and enjoy the sounds of the ocean. Grab a few jet skis and play all day!

Tell your mom you’ve planned an adventure for post quarantine time. Take mom indoor skydiving! It’ll be the perfect time to do something big, right?

Leave her alone. Take the kids (and the dog) out. Have her favorite take out delivered. When she gets up to start the bedtime routine, put your hand up and say, “Babe, I have it tonight. Sit, relax, and eat in peace”.

Take a family photo!! Or recreate older ones! Create memories that mom will always cherish.

No matter what you decide to do, be sure to celebrate the mom in your life. Happy Mother’s Day!!
